A Thai mother couldn’t believe her own eyes after not being able to recognise her own son after he went on a popular Korean television show undergoing a series of plastic surgeries to change his appearance on Let Me In Thailand.
Before appearing on the show Noppajit Monlin, 22, a factory worker here in Thailand was suffering from a twisted jaw which made him unable to chew properly which left him feeling ashamed and alienated him from his co-workers choosing to eat alone on his lunch breaks.
Appearing on the opening episode of season three of the makeover show which aired on Sunday, Noppajit was selected and underwent several plastic surgery procedures in South Korean.
As part of his transformation Noppajit had jaw, forehead and eyelid surgeries as well as botox injections into his salivary glands and skin treatments to remove blemishes.
Looking at the before and after pictures it’s quite some transformation.
It was not a simple overnight fix however recovery from the surgeries took three months, after which time he arranged to meet his mother for the first time since undergoing his treatments, his own mother was unable to recognise her son who sat across the table from her.
Eventually in a rather tearful state and having inspected Noppajit’s surgical scars his mother realised it was her son.
On the show Noppajit was interviewed about his life after the surgeries and he said it had tremendously changed his life, especially socially.
Despite probably being able to find work in any modelling agency now, Noppajit still insists he is the same person and he is still in love with his transgender girlfriend “Tob” who he has been dating for over three years.
He said “even though I have a new life, my heart is still the same.”
There you have it folks looks don’t change what’s on the inside.
