A new landmark has been opened in downtown Bangkok and the public are being asked to name the structure located at the Pathumwan intersection
The structure that was official opened last week has been causing confusion in the press as to what to name it so it has been decided that the public should name the new landmark.
What appears to be an overhead pedestrian walkway has been hailed as a marvel of artistic design.
The oddly shaped walkway is said to be “Abstract Art” and apparently was made to represent “lotus flowers blooming in a lake of green.”
Even the most experience art enthusiast might struggle to see that one, but who are we to criticise.
The structure that cost 300 million baht to complete has now been given to the local authority to run.
What do you think they should name it?
