Immigration officers at Sa Kaew, denied entry into Thailand to six Vietnamese people, one of which was a child.

The reason given was they believed they were entering the Kingdom to carry out illegal activity.

No Money, Nowhere To Stay, No Entry For Vietnamese Tourists

Each of the travellers had no more than 500 baht and could not confirm how they would support themselves financially, once in Thailand.

When asked where they would be living, the tourists said they were being met by other Vietnamese people, who would take care of them.

Van Thon, 27, Nguyen Van Son, 52, Ly Xuong, 62, Ly Thi Tuyet Anh, 55, Ly Thi Ngoc Phuong, 61, And Ly Nguyen Catdang, 9, were denied entry.
