It seems that the Thai police are very in favour with the online community at present after another video was uploaded to Facebook.
Showing two traffic officers in Loei implementing a different form of punishment to five young motorcyclist caught riding without helmets.
The two cops stopped the five lads at a checkpoint outside of the Mitr Phuluang sugar factory on Maliwan road in Wang Sapung yesterday.
Instead of issuing each with a hefty fine the officers decided a more appropriate punishment would be 10 push-ups each for the lads.
A video of the incident has since been shared on several Facebook groups garnering widespread praise for the officers for resisting issuing fines to the young lads with many noting that they might not have been able to pay the fines.
