The Bangchak Corporation Plc announced on October 9 that they will be reducing the price of all of their types of fuel on sale on October 26 as a tribute to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Their fuels are set to be reduced by 1.50 baht per litre, intended to reduce the cost of those travelling to the royal cremation ceremony of the late king on October 26, According to the chief executive officer of Bangchak Plc, Chaiwat Kovavisarach.

Tributes have been made to the late king throughout the last year where the nation has observed a year-long period of mourning.

Officials in Bangkok are currently making final preparations for the funeral ceremonies and attempting to organise the capital for the massive influx of people expected to arrive to witness and pay merit at the funeral ceremonies.
