PM thanks Thai People and international community for tributes

Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha has thanked the people of Thailand and those living abroad for their amazing show of respect and loyalty to his late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej yesterday the day of the Royal cremation ceremony.

He also gave thanks to foreign dignitaries and to foreign nations around the globe for their well wishes and for joining in with the people of Thailand in paying tribute to the late king during the period of national grief.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the late king stating that his responsibilities for his subjects throughout his 70 year rule have now been fulfilled.

He encouraged the people of Thailand to now turn their grief into strength and to give support to one another and to drive the country towards prosperity as that was the wish of the late monarch.
