A national police chief here in Thailand has had a new idea to help poor farmers across the nation, he wants his officers to dye old and unused uniforms a different colour and give them to poor famers to use while out in the fields or for people affected by disaster.
The idea was announced yesterday by National Police Chief Pol General Chakthip Chaijinda who revealed his latest plan to officers at high-level meeting at the Royal Thai Police head office in the nation’s capital.
The donation of uniforms would fall under the “We Do Good With Our Hearts” initiative which is aimed at helping the less fortunate and also promotes recycling.
