Officers in Prawet have requested a translator form Polish embassy come aid their investigation as they have a Polish suspect in custody.
After an ATM in Bangkok was robbed of 300,000 baht on September 13.
Officers said the suspect identified as Staniszewski Grajan Pawel, 38, is refusing to communicate with them in English.
Staniszewski has been charged with burglary and destroying property with a motor vehicle to steal.
It had previously been reported that a press conference would be held yesterday (September 27) but the conference has since been cancelled as the suspect has yet to admit to the charges.
Because the suspect continues to refuse to communicate in English officers have had to ask for a translator to come aid their investigation from the Polish Embassy in Bangkok.
Staniszewski was arrested following a raid his apartment at Soi Ramkhamhaeng 50 after officers used CCTV footage to investigate the crime.
