General Dechnarong Suticharnbancha, the National deputy police chief gave credit where credit was due praising the performance of officers performing duties for security and keeping public order and other duties at the Royal Cremation Ceremony on Thursday.
The deputy chief said that the police officers involved delivered “highly satisfactory performances” which was a result of months of meticulous planning stating it was officers heartfelt dedication to his late Majesty that resulted in the important event running smoothly.
He said officers will continue to carry out related responsibilities until October 29 when the final ceremonial rites will finish.
Sunday (October 29) will be the final funeral procession when a royal limousine will carry the ashes of his late majesty and the royal relics.
The procession will travel from Phra Si Rattana Chedi to Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram and then after to Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, two temples that had great meaning to the late King Bhumibol.
