People across the South of the kingdom have been told to prepare for more heavy rain this coming weekend.

Along with the expected severe downpours which could take place from Friday to Sunday the Meteorological Department announced this morning during their 11am broadcast that they expect rough seas this weekend with 2-3 meter waves in the lower Gulf of Thailand advising smaller boats to remain ashore.

The heavy rains and large are expected to occur when Tropical Storm Kaitak moves across the lower regions of the kingdom on its way from the South China Sea.

Residents in the South warned to brace for more heavy rains and rough seas

It is expected that the storm will lose strength while traveling over Malaysia resulting in severe downpours and causing flash flooding with the Meteorological Department warning those in often flood hit areas to take extra precautions.
