Rongklua Market Set To Close As Anti-Piracy Police Affect Trade

Rongklua Market is on the verge of closing down as police get tough on the sales of pirated goods.

Rongklua market, which is in the town of Aranyaprathet in the Sa Kaeo province has been targetted by both the military and the police in recent times due to its sales of illicit items.

Traders say no one comes to buy anything any more.

The market has been in existence since 2000 but now looks like it will close in the near future.

Traders are far from happy over their treatment and have suggested they will move their business ventures to online outlets.
