The Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered that the security for the upcoming Royal Funeral be increased.
Following intelligence reports that suggest some groups might cause trouble during the ceremonies.
He said the groups which have been identified operate overseas and from three southern provinces as well as anti-monarchy groups also prompting the increase in security.
The PM has tasked the military, police and National Security Council to gather Intel on the groups and be prepared for any attempt at disruption.
The government is predicting that 250,000 members of the public will attend the ceremony at Sanam Luang.
