A severe storm caused significant damage to roughly 200 homes and a temple across two districts in Phitsanulok last night.
Suriya Hanpaiboon, district chief of Phrom Piram led a party to inspect the widespread damage early this morning and to also distribute aid to those affected.
In Tambon Phrom Piram a total of 49 houses were badly damaged in Moo 10, Moo 11 and Moo 14.
In Tambon Tha Chang a total of 100 homes were damaged and the Bang Rakham district chief was also out this morning with other officials surveying the damage and again supplying aid and help with repairs where possible.
Houses were also affected in several other Tambon’s with government workers aiding those affected.
The storm also caused damage to the Wat Nong Phayom temple after a tree came down landing on one of the monk’s residences.
