Instead of his coop full of hens what he found was a giant python snoozing peacefully nearby with a rather ominous looking bulge in its stomach.

A local homeowner in the Wang Wiset district called animal rescue to come deal with the large serpent who when they arrived was curled up under a bench, looking rather full.

The team from animal rescue were surprised by the size of the giant serpent saying it was the largest they had ever come across in the area.

They carefully captured the python which having eaten such a large amount probably wasn’t feeling particularly energetic and amazing found out it measured six meters long and weighed over 35kg.

They took the snake away to be released into the wild, hopefully far away from anyone else’s chickens.
