A Hmong tribesman has been apprehended following the discovery of two million illegal speed tablets, which were hidden under cabbages!
The arrest happened in the Phu Sang district of Phayao in northern Thailand on Wednesday.
Sarayut Sae Yang, 24, was driving a pick-up, when it was stopped by police and rangers at a checkpoint. The search revealed sacks of fertiliser, hidden under a pile of cabbages. When the sacks were open, the speed pills were found.
The driver was en-route to Chiang Mai province when he drove up to the checkpoint.
