Summer storms expected to hit much of the kingdom again this week

The Meteorological Department have issued a new warning today (March 19) that summer storms are expected to hit much of the kingdom over the following week with the North to be worst affected.

The announcement warned that Thunderstorms will bring strong winds, hail and the possibility of lightning strikes in some areas.

Storms are predicted to hit the Northeast of the kingdom tomorrow which will move across to the eastern region over the following 24 hours.

Storms are then expected to hit Bangkok and surrounding areas including Pattaya on Wednesday.

People are being advised to refrain from activities taking place outside during the storms due to the possibility of lightning strikes.

Farmers are also being told to take extra precautions to try and prevent damaged caused to their crops by the storm.

So, if you were planning on playing a few rounds of golf this week best tee of tomorrow because the forecast here in Pattaya later in the week isn’t looking too great.
