TAT Try To Boost Weekday Travel

The Tourist Authority of Thailand (TAT) want to increase weekday revenue and have began a campaign to help boost tourism during the week.

A survey revealed that Thai people travel either on holiday or to attend festivals but generally, they prefer to do so at the weekends.

In a bid to boost weekday tourism with Thai people, special deals with hotels, travel resources, shopping centres and restaurants have been initiated.

TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn said this is the fourth year in succession we have made attempts to boost weekday travel.

Is it possibly that the workforce are not off work during the week, hence the influx of cars on the roads during the weekends?
