Members present at this week’s Cabinet meeting have decided to approve national reform plans for 11 areas which will be rolled out in connection with the government’s 20-year National Strategy.
Speaking yesterday a spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office Lt. Gen. Sunsern Kaewkumnerd said that members of the Cabinet have recognized the draft reform plan which focuses on vital factors such as political transparency, democracy and ethical government administration among others.
According to the spokesman Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha strongly encouraged all ministries to adopt the suggestions outline in the national reform plan and apply them to their practices.
Also during the meeting members approved the 2019 National Health Security budget which now stands at 183.43 billion baht as well as establishing a committee to make sure all outlined plans and projects are efficiently carried out.
