Manager reported on the actions of an unsung Thai hero who helped a team of foundation medics stuck in traffic reach their destination.
The medical personnel were on route to the Army Sports Club in Chitlada where it had been reported that over 30 kids were suffering from heat stroke.
However Bangkok’s traffic at the time had different plans when the team became stuck in a gridlock near the Chilada Palace, making things harder for the team the area outside the palace forbids the use of sirens.
Having been at a standstill for quite some time an unnamed man sporting a lime green shirt as can be seen in the photo came and knocked on the ambulances window and asked the medics where they were trying to get to.
After a brief exchange the lime green hero swung into action knocking on the windows of the cars in front getting them to move out of the way to allow the medics to reach the stricken children.
One of the medical team took a photo of the unidentified Good Samaritan and posted an account of his actions on the Facebook page Mem Pho Dam with the words “there are still good Thai people about.”
Comments flooded in applauding the mans actions.
Well done to the man in the green shirt.
