Those looking to spend a little time down South might be in luck following an announcement made today by Thai Vietjet who said that from April 5 the will be flying direct from Krabi to Suvarnabhumi and vice versa for the bargain price of 259 baht inclusive of taxes and other surcharges.
The airline will be putting on flights twice daily using an A320 aircraft which has a total of 180 seats.
In a statement released by Thai Vietjet they said it showcases there “determination to meet passenger demand for popular routes.”
Krabi has been highlighted as a particularly popular tourist destination here in Thailand and the new cheap flights are expected to be well received by both Thai tourists and expats.
The flight which is said to be 80 minutes long will depart Bangkok at 7.10am and 7.25pm and depart from Krabi at 9.05am and 9.20pm.
Thai Vietjet currently have five other domestic flights in operation which include Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Bangkok to Chiang Rai, Bangkok to Phuket and Bangkok to Krabi as well as flights from Phuket to Chiang Rai.
