The Tourist Authority of Thailand (TAT) have announce they expect revenue of seven hundred billion baht or over for the first quarter.
Tourists to the Kingdom is said to have reached just over nine million people, generating 490 billion baht in income.
Activities around the country, which visitors utilise have seen a significant improvement too.
TAT inform us that tourism is still on the rise with the largest increase being from visitors from south east Asia. American and European markets have also risen in 2017.
The authority said China bring the majority of visitors, creating 120 billion baht, with the Russian and Malaysian markets attracting 47 billion baht between them.
If the figures are accurate, then it has been a good time for the tourist based industries in the Kingdom.
