Thailand hope to attract more tourists from India in 2017 and beyond.
The Kingdom played host to 1.18 million Indian visitors in 2016 but hope to exceed that figure this year according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
TAT is promoting Thailand as a family destination, ideal for female travellers, adventure and sports lovers, honeymooners and of course as an affordable place to take a vacation.
A spokesperson said tourist of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy touring the Kingdom, exploring the legacy of the late King Rama IX.
With direct flights from a number of Indian cities to Bangkok, Thailand is an easy to get to destination.
Let’s hope that some of these tourist visit Pattaya and spend their money in the many businesses in the city.
