Three schoolchildren here in Thailand were awarded certificates of honor by a local education administration after they honestly returned a wallet to its rightful owner which contained 100,000 baht in cash.
The three young girls found the wallet outside of the Maesan Wittaya School in Lampang on Monday night.
The three girls then reportedly tracked down the wallets owner Suthin Kaewkhamfu and handed back the substantial sum of money.
The girl’s former teacher Mukda Pansima assisted with contacting the wallets owner and oversaw the arrangements to hand it back.
Suthin grateful for the girls honesty offered them 2,000 baht each as a reward, however the girls only accepted 1,000 baht each.
