People here in Thailand are being told to brace for a turbulent end to the week after the Meteorological Department yesterday issued a warning to most of the kingdom to expect thunderstorms from Wednesday to Friday.
The storms are expected to take place when Thailand’s current hot weather collides with a high-pressure system moving in from China which is bringing cooler temperatures with it.
The MET Department is predicting that the coming together will result in thunderstorms, hailstorms and strong winds which could result in widespread damage.
The storms are expected to originate in the Northeast on Wednesday before spreading to the rest of the kingdom over the course of the following 24 hours.
