A woman convicted of murdering her husband and sentenced to death has been given bail by an appeal court.
Nitiwadee Pucharoenyos, 38, known as Mor Nim, was sentenced to death for hiring hitmen to kill her husband sharpshooter Jakkrit Panichpatikum. But the Court of Justice has granted bail based on her appeal and the fact they do not believe she will flee.
The court also released fellow accused Santi Thongsem, who allegedly hired the gunmen to kill the husband. He too faced the death penalty.
Mr. Panichpatikum was killed by two men on a motorbike as he drove his Porsche in the Min Buri District of Bangkok in 2013.
