It has been reported that two women from Thailand have been arrested at Narita Airport in Japan yesterday after they were found with drugs in their bags.
The amount of drugs was not released but officials believe it to be cocaine.
The arrest is just the latest in a string of arrests after 10 women from Thailand were arrested last month for attempting to transport drugs.
A Thai/Japanese interpreter helping with the current investigation issued a warning to people traveling to Japan stating people should not carry bags for other people or share weight loads with other passengers.
Though it has yet to be confirmed by officers it has been suggested that the two women arrested were not aware they were transporting contraband.
The women who have yet to be named were part of a group tour with a Thai guide who officers there are now interrogating.
People commented online over concerns that the latest string of arrests puts Thailand in a bad light and might make traveling to Japan more difficult in the future.
