A woman was left with minor injuries after crashing her Ferrari F430 into a concrete barrier in the early hours of Thursday morning in Bangkok.
The driver Wisana Asavasopon, 49, was able to walk away from the accident that happened at 2am in the capitals Bang Khen district.
Wisana told police who soon arrived that she was driving home having visited friends and she passed out briefly behind the wheel and collided with the barrier.
The impact of the crash badly damaged the front end of the Italian sports car.
Police investigating the scene said there was no evidence that the driver of the car tried to apply the brakes before crashing.
The Ferrari F430 is one of only 15 in the whole of Thailand which are each estimated to be worth about 16 million baht.
Police towed the damaged sports car to the Bang khen Police Station pending what will do doubt be a rather hefty insurance claim.
