PENSIONERS SEARCH FOR LOVE CONTINUES AFTER FALSE ONLINE REPORTS

We have spoken a lot over the last week or so about a 65-year-old woman from Ubon Ratchathani who grabbed headlines after the pensioner posted a sign on the gate of her house looking for an eligible suiter in her pursuit of love.

Well it seems now that Sompong Chomphuprapet has gone to local police to file a report after people in the area were sharing allegedly fake nude photos of her on the popular messaging app LINE.

Sompong somehow got wind of what was going on and took copies of the photos of the woman who she says is not her to the Phibun Mangsahan police in an effort to stop people sharing the images.

Sompong said that the naked photos must belong to a woman that looks like her but did not know where they originated from.

The images were part of a collage along with images of the sign she posted on her gate leading people to believe that it was her in the pictures.

Sompong said since she put up her sign seeking a partner she had only had one applicant apply for the role but rejected him because his monthly pension was only 8,000 baht.

It might not be all over for the rejected man however, Sompong said she was sent a letter from a 50-year-old woman enquiring after the man that did not to meet her strict criteria and passed along the man’s contact information.
