According to former WBC Super Middleweight champion Carl Froch, David Haye will not consider retiring from the ring following his recent defeat at the hands of Tony Bellew.

36 year old Haye suffered damage to his Achilles tendon causing him great discomfort during the Bellew fight. This has been operated on and Haye is now determined to fight on with his immediate priority being a rematch with Liverpool’s Tony Bellew.

Haye who has held world titles at two different weights was stopped in the 11th round against Bellow, after damaging his Achilles in round six. Haye displayed great bravery to continue but his corner threw in the towel to prevent further damage to his ankle.
