Two goals from Christiano Ronaldo helped the Spanish giants lift the top trophy in Europe for a record 12th time as they defeated Italian side Juventus in Cardiff.
The Portuguese star opened the scoring after 20 minutes, before Mandzukic equalised with a spectacular effort from an overhead kick.
In the second half a deflected shot from Casemiro gave Madrid the lead again, before Ronaldo’s near post effort secured the victory.
Juve had a man dismissed for a second yellow card offence then Asensio scored Real’s fourth of the night.
Real created history as they won back to back Champions League titles, which is the first time it has been accomplished since the format was created in 1992.
The cup has been running since 1955, seeing the Madrid side win it an amazing 12 times.
Real also won the Spanish La Liga this season, their first since 2012.
