Facebook to consider blocking illegal content in Thailand once cases have been investigated by FB officials after receiving requests

Recently FB have been in the news for broadcasting live suicides, allowing thousands of viewers to watch it before the videos are taken off.

It has been reported that many lives have also been saved by the broadcasting of live videos as it can allow friends and others to intervene in real-time and save lives.

Facebook have said it will consider blocking over three-hundred URL cases which have been put forward by Thailand ISP to be blocked.
Governments will contact companies such as Facebook and ask they block certain URLs of people who are violating the law, Facebook have agreed to scrutinise content not just in Thailand but in all countries.
