Nearly two billion people a month are using Facebook as profits skyrocket in the first few months of the year.
Over 1.3 million people use Facebook daily, with an increase in profits of ££2.4 billion.
51% of Facebook’s revenue is generated through advertising, but this is expected to slow down as they aim to limit the amount of ads.
It had come to the attention of the chief financial officer that the number of ads on users pages is at its highest, so he will be looking at ways to profit from other products such as Instagram, Whatsapp and Messenger.
Recently Facebook have been in the news for the way they handled the suicides which were posted live on the social media site.
Since then CEO Mark Zuckerburg made a public statement that he will be employing three thousand more staff to monitor the site to deal with similar incidents.
