One of the world’s biggest ever password databases has been leaked online, leaving many people vulnerable to fraud.
The leak affects over 200 million users and includes almost 600 million usernames and passwords.
The message at present is simple.
CHANGE YOU ONLINE PASSWORDS.
MacKeeper describes the leaked database as the mother of all leaks.
Information such as usernames, passwords and email addresses from some of the most popular online resources and websites are at large. These include Tumblr, MySpace and DropBox along with many more.
The source of the leak is currently unknown but whoever was in charge of security of the database should be sacked.
