A video has been uploaded to social media showing the capture of a massive python in Pathum Thani which measured a whopping 7-meters in length and weighed in at nearly 100 kilograms.

The snake was caught by rescue workers near a yard at the PTT gas depot in the district of Khlong Luang.

Snake wrangler Amnat Saengsawang said he had been capturing snakes for 30 years but this was the biggest one he had ever caught.

The snake reportedly wasn’t going quietly and left Amnat sporting several broken fingers after it bit through a protective glove he was wearing during its capture.

The snake will now be released back into the wild in the Khao Yai area.
