Three American’s were arrested after they stole a wooden elephant from a Koh Samui restaurant.

The culprits Drew Davidson, John Johnson and Andrew Corso were caught by police with the evidence still in the back of their rented pick-up

American Tourist Steal Heavy Wooden Elephant

Staff at the restaurant had alerted police of the stolen elephant when they realised it was missing. CCTV revealed two foreigners nicking the wooden carving in the earlier hours of Monday morning.

The wooden elephant was loaded into a pick-up before they took off with their prize.

The men took numerous photos featuring them with their stolen item and shared them on social media.
