A Thai man has appeared on national TV following a trip to Khon Kaen Zoo.
Not the most exciting news you will hear today but something occurred that could be classed as “unusual”.
Whilst standing on an elevated platform, Surakij Suppachockchai, 30, was calling out “giraffe, giraffe” in an attempt to lure the animal closer.
He succeeded big time, for the giraffe, struck out with a swipe from its long neck, resulting in a sort of headbutt.
Thankfully neither Surakij nor the giraffe were hurt in the incident.
He was happy to post a video of the occurrence on his Facebook page.
He confessed that he had possibly been rather foolish and advised others not to get too close or tease the animals.
