Following on from recent arrests at Thepprassit Market, police have detained and charged another three people for selling illegal electronic cigarettes.

Weena Weerawuthikai, 36, Ratchakit Wilertthada, 31 and Tharin Tantiwilai, 22 were charged with selling prohibited goods that could cause danger to consumers under the Consumer Act BE 2522.

Police announced the arrest of three people accused of violating the Consumer Protection Act by selling e-cigarettes.


Police have been active recently by issuing warnings with regards to the selling of e-cigarette or the liquid used in them.

They have stressed that anyone involved in selling of such products either at markets, shops or social media, would be tracked down and charged.
