Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha is in Pattaya today attending the International Fleet Review where he will board HTMS Talang to take part in the proceedings.

The Fleet review was officially opened yesterday celebrating 50 years of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)

A parade was held yesterday comprising of military personnel as well as local tourist attractions which marched along a rather flooded beach road following a heavy downpour.

Later today there will be a parade at sea comprising of 40 warships from 18 different nations with the Thai PM and his deputy Gen Prawi both aboard HTMS Talang.

It was reported that the parade will showcase the capabilities of the countries involved as well as the strength of their alliance.
