A Thai restaurant owner has appealed to the media for help in identifying two men that stole over 60,000 baht’s worth of goods and valuables from her restaurant in Jomtien on Wednesday.
It was the second time in recent months that the October Bar and Bistro has been the target on thieves.
Kanthima Darak, 47, who owns the restaurant, said she shut early on Wednesday as a result of the heavy rain and when she returned to open for business yesterday thieves had come in and took what they wanted in the process scattering things everywhere.
Missing after the theft are two cash registers estimated at 28,000 baht and 30,000 baht’s worth of wine and other goods.
CCTV caught the thieves in the act until one realised they were being filmed before turning the camera round and continuing with their heist.
Kanthima said she has reported both robberies to Pattaya police but so far has had no joy.
She has now released the footage to the media in an effort to try and identify the culprits.
