At the 3rd Joint cabinet retreat in Phonom Penh today both Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to open four more border crossings.
After Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha made a promise to take care of all legal Cambodian migrant workers.
The retreat co-chaired by PM Prayut and Cambodian PM Hun Sen exchanged opinions on several key issues and promoted a partnership for peace and prosperity in a statement released by the Government House.
Both countries agreed that relations between the two nations and cooperation between the two had improved on every level.
The Cambodian PM greeted Prime Minister Prayut Chan-Ocha with a hug when he arrived at the retreat which goes to further illustrate improving relations.
Thailand stressed the importance of developing border crossings between the two both by land and sea to enhance both nations economic growth via cross-border trade and tourism.
