Confusion over who had the right of way leads to an accident between an Isuzu pick-up truck and an ambulance in Ayutthaya.

The Ambulance had its lights and sirens on as it drove through an amber light at an intersection at the same time as the pick-up went through on a green light and the two collided.

The incident was captured on CCTV and resulted on three of the ambulances passengers being injured, Narong Klinsukhon, 63, who was being taken to hospital at the time, Waree Klinsukhon, 38, a relative of the patient and Phajongrak Chalutdong, 27, a nurse.

Both drivers of the vehicles escaped injury.

Thongchai Meechujai, 38, the ambulances driver said he had slowed down for the intersection and had his siren on when going through an amber light when the accident happened.
