A waterspout was caught on camera just off of the coast at Ao Nang Beach, in Krabi yesterday where witnesses said the mini-tornado.
Which poses little threat lasted for around 20 minutes before disappearing.
A 15 second clip of the impressive sight was shared online by Warakorn Chamnanpoom who said the waterspout occurred about 5kilometres from the shore.
The waterspouts are often seen during the rainy season where south-west monsoons bring moisture and storms to the region.
Warakorn said “It was about 2pm when it started, all the people at the beach were excited and recorded the incident.”
